Access Connectivity Specialist
Role Summary
Lead network planning and design for transport and access layers, ensuring quality, resiliency, and cost efficiency. Drive architecture, capacity planning, regulatory projects, performance analysis, vendor engagement, sourcing, and governance while coaching teams to achieve operational excellence and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead for network planning and design for both transport medium and network element across Aggregation and Access layer. Ensuring the design as per guideline in term of technical setup, utilization, quality and performance monitoring, transmission network resiliency and reliability to ensure network quality, capacity, and cost efficiency to support the Coverage, Capacity Build and Network Consolidation plan.
- Drive project deliverables, network architecture design, capacity planning, meetings and discussions to ensure end to end delivery of network readiness to support company growth plan and operational excellence within what been govern by Transport architecture and strategy, continuous CAPEX and OPEX optimization, revenue protection through transmission infra, capacity swap and design optimization. Managing approved investment in line with plan effect realization based on investment plan
- Responsible for performance analysis, come out with plan and cost; work out with relevant parties such as Procurement, Rollout and New Performance & Quality.
- Lead access transmission planning solutions exploration related to MCMC & Regulatory projects and tender submission preparation such as MCMC Clawback/MC, JENDELA, PEDI/NADI.
- Drive GOP deliverables by Demand and Govern planning and projects delivery, monthly Capacity and Quality KPI assessment, efficient Capex & COGS spending, timely asset refreshment and retirement.
- Drive network performance and improvement discussion with vendors, Lease Line providers, OLNO and NSP/NFP via regular forum.
- Technical Lead for Local and TPC Sourcing exercise according to commodities. Provide best technical specifications and cost effectives design to ease commercial normalization process.
- Play a leadership role in respective areas by providing coaching and guiding associate engineer, protégé and associate interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 4 to 10 years of working experience in the scope of transmission plan and design with a good understanding of Access, IPRAN and Core Transport network.
- Strong technical knowledge in transport technologies inclusive of Microwave, DWDM , IPRAN/IP Core. VSAT and Synchronization network.
- Experienced in Technical Proof of Concept, Technical Sourcing (RFP/RFQ) and brief automation soft skills.
- Excellent transmission planning and operation skills.
- Good Analytical, Project Management, interpersonal & communication.
- Good influencing, stakeholder management and growth mindset.
- Brief leadership skills gained from past project, experienced, training and job assignment.
