Job Description

The SME Centralized Planning role is focused on harmonizing, synergizing, and expanding tools, systems, data, documents, processes, and systems for network use. The role serves as a key interface for internal and external stakeholders and oversees various responsibilities including CAPEX and COGS build plan, tender or RFX exercises, and managing KPI mandates among others.

Responsibilities

  • Centralized Network Planning & Design
    • Develop and maintain centralized wireless network plans, including coverage, capacity, and performance targets.
    • Analyze traffic trends and forecast future demand to guide infrastructure investments.
    • Oversee comprehensive analyses of coverage and capacity requirements, integrating advanced data analytics, environmental factors, and emerging technologies
    • Incorporate planning strategies to enhance spectral efficiency and improve network throughput
    • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure alignment with national planning strategies.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Centralized Network Planning Team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
    • Good Knowledge in Inbuilding System & design
  • Responsible for Network Integration project
    • Key Wireless interface for Network Integration & Modernization project
    • Key interface as Wireless for all RAN planning related matters
    • Responsible to drive project deliverables such as RAN detailed planning, solutioning, technical proposal review and rollout execution
    • Work closely with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to support network deployment projects.
    • Good in Internal Stakeholder & External Stakeholder (DNB, Industry , ZTE, Huawei , Managing services partner & etc)  management
  • Optimization & Performance
    • Monitor network KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
    • Recommend and implement optimization strategies for radio access networks (RAN).
    • Support rollout of new technologies (e.g., 5G, IoT) with robust planning frameworks.
  • Spectrum Management
    • Ensure efficient use of available spectrum resources.
    • Conduct interference analysis and coordinate frequency planning.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Prepare detailed planning reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate records of planning activities and network configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in RAN planning and design for mobile networks.
• Experience in leading network transformation/deployment  projects (4G,5G)
• Excellent-level knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies, standards, and emerging trends.
• Proficiency with advanced network planning tools (e.g., ASSET, Atoll, Planet) and GIS software (e.g., MapInfo, Google Earth).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated success in driving automation and innovation in network planning workflows
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
