DEMAND PLANNING & OPS SPECIALIST
Job Description
We are looking for a Demand Planning & Operations Specialist to deliver precise forecasts, streamline inventory management, and strengthen our supply chain resilience through data-driven insights and strategic collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of historical data, market trends, and customer insights to identify demand gaps and integrate demand planning with business planning, sales revenue forecasting, COGS, and distribution strategies
- Maintain optimal stock levels using Week of Cover (WoC) methodology, while proactively monitoring aging inventory and initiating clearance actions to minimize risk
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings (e.g. Enterprise Business) by delivering accurate forecasts, scenario planning, and actionable insights
- Perform advanced data analysis and reporting on large datasets, ensuring accuracy and reliability of metrics to drive fact-based decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functional with sales, marketing, TGTM, finance, and procurement teams to align demand planning with organizational objectives
- Manage systems and material master data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in supply chain operations
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, recommending solutions, and implementing best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or another related analytical field
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in demand planning, supply chain, or operations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query and other statistical tools (eg Power BI Tableau)
- Team oriented and inclusive– ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
