IT Network Specialist
Job Summary
The IT Network Analyst is responsible for managing and operating complex IT network infrastructure with SDN (Cisco ACI), NG Firewalls and F5 LTM/ASM, and Network Tapping (RSPAN, ERSPAN). The role includes in-depth work on dynamic routing protocols (BGP) and network IT solution design, integrating overall infrastructure blueprint and architecture development, and maintaining a standardized and operational effective infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities
- Closely collaborate with Information Security, Application and other Infrastructure architect peers on overall roadmap, priorities of new projects and operation requirements to ensure completeness of solution.
- Able to lead, drive and deliver outcomes with various vendors or product principal on technical advises, design or frameworks.
- Team player in planning, design and operational of projects that maybe handled directly or indirectly by the team or cross department.
- Work alongside junior or senior team members either from within or other team/department for operational initiatives and the willingness to share/transfer knowledge as part of project/operational work delivery.
- Be accountable for certain projects/tasks assigned from superior to deliver desired results.
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation improvements with aim to improve overall team’s delivery.
- Collaborate with partners and key stakeholders for incident and problem management for RCA report and improvement plans.
- Lead in troubleshooting of complex issues and problems at various stages of projects and up to operational state.
- Review weekly SLA performance report by partners and discuss with peers to ensure accuracy of service delivery report.
- Ensuring infrastructure/platform is operating in compliance with CelcomDigi IT and Security Policy.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Strong technical experience and knowledge in Complex IT Network infrastructure with SDN (Cisco ACI), NG Firewalls and F5 LTM/ASM and system monitoring domains.
- Experience of 2-6 years in Infrastructure Planning, Infrastructure Architecture or similar roles.
- Experience in enterprise experience and implementing global data center solutions where trust and security are integral parts of the culture.
- Understanding of multiple Infrastructure domains (Server and Storage, Network, Cloud, Database etc.).
- Ability to determine the architectural implications of business requirements.
- Operational experience in the telecommunications industry is an advantage.
- ITIL or other IT Governance certification is an advantage.
- Good analytical and project management skill.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skill and interpersonal skill.
- Strong initiative and self-start ability.
- Strong team spirit and able to work with all levels of people.
