Retail Lead
Job Description
The Retail Leader oversees all store operations, driving sales, customer experience, and staff performance. They organize daily activities, mentor and develop staff, ensure compliance, and implement initiatives to optimize store performance. Acting as a role model, they champion CD Retail Culture and deliver exceptional retail standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of store operations to maximize sales and enhance customer experience.
- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to staff in ensuring successful running of the store.
- Manage store performance in terms of monitoring staff (Retail Specialist and Retail Expert) achievements in sales, servicing, customer experience and compliance.
- Ensure seamless operations in terms of cash, inventories, store front, POSM, display etc. and in-store merchandising management.
- Focus on career growth and development of the staff (Retail Specialist and Retail Expert) by providing motivation, mentoring and coaching.
- Enforce quality and compliance to standard policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Analyze store's reports and turn it into relevant initiatives as quick wins.
- Provide consistent feedback and creative ideas to Regional Retail Manager to deliver high quality standard of retail operations.
- Act as a role model and change agent to embrace and promote CD Retail Culture.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in any relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in telecommunications or retail industries.
- Proven experience in leading, managing, and motivating a team with minimal supervision.
- Good knowledge of retail management best practices; experience in Retail Specialist or Retail Expert roles is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Strong people management skills; approachable, responsible, and an attentive listener.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical mindset, and familiarity with data analysis principles.
- Positive, passionate, collaborative, creative, self-motivated, resourceful, team-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
- Ability to make quality operational and business decisions.
