SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Job Description
This role provides critical support to the Supply Chain team by ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely flow of goods. The specialist oversees daily operational activities including monitoring, ordering, distribution, and sales coordination, while managing data and communications across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Order Management: Process stakeholder orders, coordinate with warehouses, and manage distribution schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, ensure sufficient inventory across depots and channels, and support periodic inventory audits.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with courier partners and logistics agents, and manage transportation-related activities and issues.
- Data & Reporting: Prepare and maintain operational reports, analyze data trends, and provide status updates to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Gather operational feedback, identify inefficiencies, and support the implementation of process and system enhancements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between Sales, Warehouse, and other internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues and facilitate timely information flow.
- Problem Solving: Investigate, escalate, and resolve operational issues arising throughout the supply chain process.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP, DMS, and CD systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure, including non-working hours when required, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Capable of working independently.
