Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, paperwork, and continuous enhancement of cybersecurity engineering solutions to address evolving threats and business needs.
- Lead the integration of DevSecOps principles into the software development lifecycle, ensuring security is embedded from design to deployment.
- Design and implement cloud security strategies, ensuring secure architecture and compliance for cloud-native applications and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate, recommend, and drive the adoption of advanced security technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Provide technical leadership and SME in threat modeling, security automation, and security architecture.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, not limited to: IT, risk management, compliance, vendors, and partners, to ensure security requirements are met.
- Drive the development of security solution blueprints, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure.
- Project coordinator for cybersecurity infrastructure deployments, ensuring seamless integration with existing environments and optimized security controls.
- Familiar in-depth security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation planning for enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement security automation strategies to improve efficiency, threat detection, and response capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to cybersecurity engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and security excellence.
- Ensure seamless transition from cybersecurity engineering to operations, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and training.
- Continuously monitor and analyze emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices to proactively strengthen security defenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Min 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, architecture, and solutioning, with a proven track record of technical leadership.
- It’s an advantage to have industry certifications as CISSP, CCSK,CISM, OSCP, TOGAF, or equivalent security technology certifications (e.g., Cloud Security, Firewall, IDS/IPS, PIM/PAM, IAM, Zero Trust).
- Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise security solutions across networks, cloud environments, and applications.
- Extensive hands-on experience in security engineering, threat modeling, and cybersecurity automation.
- Advantage to have experience and knowledge in AI ( GRC, Agentic, multiple frameworks, AI Security) to integrate with Cybersecurity Tools ie SIEM, AIM,FW for AI-Powered automation tools and incident response.
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in securing hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with cybersecurity engineering disciplines, including:
- Security Architecture & Solutioning (Min 2 years)
- Cybersecurity Technology Implementation (Min 2 years)
- Security Operations & Incident Response (Min 2 years)
- Cybersecurity Design & Planning (Min 1 year)
- AI Security (Min 1 year)
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Next-Gen Firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with security automation, SIEM, SOAR, and advanced threat intelligence platforms or any security controls are advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting cybersecurity strategies to senior management.
- Ability to handle complex security challenges, drive innovation, and influence cybersecurity strategy within the organization.
- This role requires a seasoned cybersecurity professional with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive security engineering initiatives at an enterprise level.
