Unit Head, Sales Planning (Outbound/Telesales)
Job Description
In this role at CelcomDigi as the Unit Head Outbound Sales Planning, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic outbound sales plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. You will lead and mentor the sales planning team, analyze performance trends, and collaborate with the Channel Operations team to align sales.
Responsibilities
Develop Strategic Outbound Sales Plans:
- Create and execute comprehensive outbound sales plans to achieve or exceed sales & revenue targets.
- Optimize productivity and acquisition costs
Performance Analysis:
- Analyze performance trends to identify outbound sales opportunities.
- Implement corrective actions based on feedback and insights.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate, discuss, and work closely with the Channel Operations team and stakeholders from various departments to design outbound strategies and plans
- Align outbound sales strategies with product launches and business initiatives.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, agents, and stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring:
- Set performance standards and sales targets for the outbound sales team.
- Monitor sales metrics and conduct regular performance reviews.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present outbound sales performance reports to management.
- Maintain discipline in tracking daily results to enable real-time performance monitoring.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with business rules, policies, and regulations.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
