Job Description
We are looking for a Business Support (Channel Sales) professional to provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to our dealers and sales team. The role focuses on ensuring smooth dealer operations, timely resolution of post-sales matters, accurate submission tracking, and effective coordination with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Follow up with dealers daily on pending CR/OP submissions and operational matters to ensure timely closure.
- Assist and provide training to new dealers and dealer administrators on submission processes, requirements, and operational procedures.
- Support dealers with post-sales service issues through backend coordination, including bill disputes, IR activation, SIM replacement, unbarring requests, bill printing, OST checking, account restructuring, company information updates, handset delivery issues, and other related matters.
- Provide dealers with easy access to relevant SOPs and operational guidelines to streamline submissions and minimise rejection cases.
- Assist dealers and Direct Sales teams in checking account and line information, particularly when they are working offsite.
- Support the new dealer recruitment and onboarding process, including guidance on required documentation and onboarding materials.
- Follow up with dealers on administrative documents and information required by HQ.
- Support the CM/HOS in monitoring dealer lead statuses and provide regular weekly updates.
- Escalate dealer and customer complaint cases to the relevant internal departments and ensure proper follow-up until resolution.
- Assist the Sales team in preparing for roadshows, sales activities, and marketing events.
- Coordinate with HQ on the compilation and distribution of POSM materials to dealers and sales teams.
- Participate in and provide operational support during marketing and sales events as required.
- Travel outstation when necessary to support dealer and sales activities.
- Support HOS in daily CROP activities, submission tracking, and GA figure updates.
- Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned to support Channel Sales performance and dealer operations.
Requirements
- This is a 1-year contract position under a 3rd party outsource contract, supporting the Channel Sales function
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in business support, sales administration, channel/ dealer management, customer service, or sales operations.
- Experience supporting dealers, channel partners, or sales teams will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of sales and operational processes, preferably within the telecommunications, technology, or related industry.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple pending submissions, requests, and cases simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with dealers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Able to understand and explain SOPs, submission requirements, and operational processes to dealers and administrative staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, coordinate with relevant departments, and follow through until resolution.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when handling documentation, account information, submissions, and operational reports.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for tracking, reporting, and data updates.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Willing to travel outstation when required to support dealer, sales, and marketing activities.
- A proactive, customer-oriented, and results-driven approach with strong ownership of assigned tasks.
