Enterprise Sales - Account Manager (Taman Molek, Johor)
Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of segment-based accounts while driving the acquisition and growth of new business opportunities to meet sales revenue targets. This role serves as the key liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring that business requirements are effectively delivered through both direct and indirect sales channels, on a monthly and annual basis.
Responsibilities
- Manage a designated portfolio of segment-based accounts while driving new business acquisition and growth to achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of customer business requirements.
- Identify, develop, and execute opportunities for revenue growth through both direct and indirect sales channels on a monthly and annual basis.
- Prepare, maintain, and regularly update Account Plans for both existing and prospective customers to support strategic account development.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts (weekly/monthly), and ensure timely submission of proposals, tenders, and quotations.
- Proactively gather and provide feedback on network performance, service quality, and customer issues to relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Oversee end-to-end account management, from business acquisition through to service delivery and post-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Drive competitive positioning within the assigned segment by actively identifying opportunities and executing strategies to win against competitors.
Requirements
- This position is a 2-year fixed-term contract.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years in enterprise sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the telecommunications or technology industry.
- Proven track record in managing enterprise accounts, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth through both direct and indirect sales channels.
- Strong ability to develop and execute account plans, manage end-to-end customer engagements, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer requirements to identify business opportunities and create actionable plans.
- Proactive in identifying customer issues, providing feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve challenges.
- Strong business acumen and competitive spirit to win against competitors within the assigned segment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales forecasting tools, and enterprise sales processes.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and support business development activities.
