Role Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI DevOps Frontend engineer to join our AI & Data Department under the Innovation Division. The AI DevOps Frontend engineer will report to the Head of AI and Innovation and will be responsible for developing AI applications for CelcomDigi. This role involves working with both self-hosted large language models (LLMs) such as LLaMA and QWEN, as well as token-based LLMs like GPT-5.2, Gemini, and others. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end (nodeJS, Android, iOS) and some back-end development (python) skills, making them a full-stack developer capable of handling web and mobile app development, server side processes, APIs, and databases. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, scale and operate AI applications using NodeJS/Python, various LLMs and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Work with self-hosted LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Qwen) and token-based LLMs (e.g., GPT-5, Gemini), inclusive of text based, audio, image and multimodal models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
  • Design and develop front-end applications (web and mobile) and co support back-end services.
  • Create and manage APIs, and co support server processes, and databases.
  • Train and fine-tune AI models and LLMs to meet specific project requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in operations tasks as part of the wider AI DevSecOps team, this includes troubleshooting the AI services created and resolving service impacting issues, patches fixes etc, inclusive of on call roster to ensure 24x7 operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in AI development, particularly with LLMs and NodeJs.
  • Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, etc.).
  • Proficiency in mobile app development (Responsive web, Android and iOS)
  • Strong back-end development skills (Node.js, Django, Flask, python etc.).
  • Experience with server-side processes, APIs, and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with AI model training and fine-tuning techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Experience in data science and machine learning is an added advantage.
  • Experience in DevSecOps team is an added advantage
