Asset Protection & Security Analyst
Job Description
The role involves analyzing and reporting on vandalism incidents to identify risks and trends, recommending data-driven preventive measures, and supporting anti-vandalism initiatives across network and store sites. It includes collaborating with police and authorities, conducting post-incident analysis, implementing corrective actions, benchmarking best practices, and delivering awareness or training sessions to enhance security and prevention efforts.
Responsibilities
- Collect and assess incident data to identify patterns, high-risk areas, and emerging threats.
- Prepare analytical reports and dashboards to support management decisions in combating Vandalism.
- Propose data-driven solutions and security enhancements to prevent vandalism.
- Support planning and implementation of anti-vandalism initiatives across network sites and CD store sites.
- Conduct incident analysis, assist in evidence gathering, and prepare post-incident reports.
- Recommend corrective and preventive measures based on root cause findings.
- Act as the primary point of contact with police and local authorities on vandalism matters.
- Facilitate joint actions, information sharing and follow-up investigations.
- Benchmark best practices and update internal policies and procedures.
- Conduct awareness or training sessions to strengthen security culture and prevention efforts.
Requirements
- 1-year contract (3rd-party outsourced).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Data Analytics, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience in security analysis, investigations, or infrastructure protection.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, AI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with physical security technologies and crime prevention methods.
- Experience liaising with law enforcement or regulatory agencies is highly desirable.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) and data visualization tools (Power BI, AI).
- Clear and concise communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of project management principles.
