Convergence GTM Ops Specialist
Job Description
This role supports Convergence’s market growth within the property development ecosystem by managing relationships with property developers, driving partner engagement, planning and executing GTM strategies, and identifying growth opportunities in both existing and new fibre areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow market share for Fibre and 5G FWA via Convergence within the property development ecosystem, including developers, building management, and property-related partners.
- Drive end-to-end readiness of all GTM activities and events, including segment targeting, communication planning, and on-ground coordination from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution for both new and existing development launches.
- Ideate and develop campaigns and solutions that address market demand and meet customer expectations for targeted developments and projects.
- Lead the execution of BTL campaigns with accuracy and timeliness, while generating insights and recommendations to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor penetration rates, performance, and contribution by developers, support issue resolution and collaboration efforts with key property partners.
- Prepare concept proposals and business cases and present them at relevant approval forums for endorsement.
- Facilitate and manage all related processes—including NDA signing, due diligence, and contracting—ensuring seamless end-to-end execution of initiatives.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing fibre footprints and evaluate potential new fibre greenfields areas for expansion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields may be considered if candidate has sufficient industry experience. We welcome diverse applicants; however, this role requires existing legal authorization to work in Malaysia as visa sponsorship is not available.
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in business development or partnership-related functions, with exposure to telecom, ISP, e-commerce, or technology industries being advantageous.
- Strong communication and negotiation capabilities to build alignment, manage expectations, and drive mutually beneficial outcomes with partners across multiple industries.
- Commercial acumen. Good knowledge of telco business is preferred but not a must.
- Able to influence and lead cross functional groups and champion a new initiative.
- Self-starter with a “builder’s mindset” — able to spot opportunities, test quickly, and adapt.
