Data Enablement Specialist
Job Description
Data Enablement sits at the foundation of everything we do in analytics, AI, and decisioning. As a Data Enablement Specialist, you will unlock trusted, harmonised data at scale — powering business insights, advanced analytics, and real-time decisioning across the organisation.
You’ll work at the heart of our cloud data platform, partnering closely with IT, analytics, and business teams to build automated, secure, and scalable data access that enables high-impact use cases across a leading telecom operator.
If you enjoy solving complex data access challenges and want your work to directly fuel AI and analytics at scale, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Enable business teams with fast, reliable, and secure access to high-quality data on the Snowflake cloud data platform.
- Drive post-harmonisation initiatives, working with IT to improve data consistency, usability, and analytics readiness.
- Design and deliver automated, scalable data solutions that reduce manual effort and improve time-to-insight.
- Act as the central point of contact for data requests — triaging, prioritising, and delivering data across various teams
- Define and uphold data access standards, governance, and controls, ensuring compliance with security and privacy requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality, performance, and usability across critical datasets.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Data, analytics, or cloud certifications are an advantage.
Experience & Skills
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (preferred) and/or Teradata or similar data platforms.
- Solid understanding of data harmonisation, data quality, and analytical data models.
- Ability to translate business questions into clear, well-structured data outputs.
- Experience working in a shared-service or platform team, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Familiarity with data governance, access control, and security best practices.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
