Data and Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Purpose:-

• Drive operational excellence programs by reviewing and validating OE initiatives based on historical data as well as strategic cost positioning for CD if based on forecasted data. 
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for operational efficiency as well as biz improvements.
• Support HoD to perform strategic analysis for costs and other basis for biz evaluation and decision alternatives based on data-driven insights.
• Actively incorporating insights gained from analysis into business processes to improve operational efficiency and support company goals/strategies.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Produce analytical review on operating expenses and cost behavior trend. To monitor key spending trends, propose alternatives to address wastage, double spending etc.
• Provide high level data analysis of operational expenditure to ensure projects biz case are validated.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Support Head of OE data analysis and deep dives into operational, financial and network data/statistics.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and IT to ensure OE recommendations are implemented for proper data governance.

Requirements:-

• Possess Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Data Science Business Analytics, Economics or any related field.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis or related role
• Proficiency in SQL (optional) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with Excel and scripting
• (Optional) Experience in Python/C/SQL
• (Optional) Familiar with Cloud Platforms (Azure/etc)
