Job Description

We are looking for a Digital & Data Analytics Specialist to join the Internal Audit team, driving the transformation of audit through data, automation and advanced analytics. This role plays a key part in building continuous auditing capabilities and enhancing audit effectiveness, efficiency and coverage through innovative technologies and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Translate audit requirements into scalable analytics and automation solutions using data analytics, RPA, AI and other relevant technologies
  • Design and implement data analytics and automation solution (e.g. scripts and dashboards) to support continuous auditing and ongoing monitoring
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain continuous data from various data sources and maintain a suitable continuous auditing platform
  • Explore and evaluate advanced analytics model and techniques (AI/ML) to enhance risk detection, anomaly identification and audit insights
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of data in continuous auditing platform
  • Support audit team in data extraction, data analysis and automation to enhance audit coverage and efficiency
  • Follow up with the stakeholders to ensure findings identified through continuous auditing are remediated with appropriate corrective actions
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics and automation. Recommend appropriate tools / solutions to enhance audit coverage and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology (IT) / Data Science
  • Minimum 5 years experience in data analytics, with proven ability to perform complex data analysis, data mining and ETL (e.g. SSIS/Apache Airflow)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL), Python scripting, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau). Experience in analytics tools such as ACL or equivalent platforms is an added advantage
  • Professional certification in Data Science or Data Analytics and experience in applying AI/ML techniques (e.g. anomaly detection) to support risk detection are added advantages
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and able to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision
