Enterprise Business - Head of Insights and Analytics
Job Description
This role is at CDX level, bridging the gap between complex databases and strategic business decision. Responsible for turning data into meaningful insights that guide product strategy, decision-making and performance improvement.
Responsibilities
Data Synthesis, Integration, and Quality Assurance
- Aggregate, clean, and harmonise data from multiple sources to establish a single source of truth for the Enterprise Business Division.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data governance standards.
Advanced Insights Generation
- Analyse complex datasets to uncover patterns, anomalies, and behaviours that drive business value.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks through deep-dive analytics and predictive modelling.
Data Storytelling and Communication
- Translate analytical findings into compelling narratives that clearly define business problems and actionable solutions.
- Present complex insights in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders, including CXOs, Product, and Sales teams.
KPI and Metrics Ownership
- Define, develop, and own key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the Enterprise Sales Planning function.
- Design and implement automated dashboards and reporting tools to enable real-time performance tracking and decision-making.
Team Leadership and Capability Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and analytical excellence within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement and Influence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Technology) to ensure analytics initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions through data-driven insights.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay abreast of emerging analytics technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Drive the adoption of innovative analytics solutions to enhance business performance and maintain competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful insights in a complex, fast-paced enterprise environment, preferably in telco industry.
- Strong expertise in advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, to manage ad-hoc tasks and prioritize tasks efficiently, managing multiple tasks and work under tight timelines.
