We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Event Specialist, Enterprise Event Marketing to lead the planning and execution of high-impact B2B events and engagement programs across SME, Public Sector, and Large Enterprise segments. This role will drive nationwide workshops, executive engagements, industry conferences, sponsorships, customer events, and solution showcases that strengthen CelcomDigi’s enterprise positioning in the market.
The ideal candidate is a strong planner and executor with excellent stakeholder management capabilities, commercial awareness, and hands-on experience managing end-to-end B2B engagements in fast-moving environments. You should be comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, managing multiple portfolios simultaneously, and turning strategic objectives into impactful on-ground execution and memorable customer experiences.
Responsibilities
The Day-to-Day Activities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of nationwide enterprise engagement initiatives including events, sponsorships, workshops, executive roundtables, partner collaborations, solution showcases, roadshows, and customer programs across SME, Public Sector, and Large Enterprise portfolios.
- Develop integrated event and engagement strategies aligned with business priorities, sales objectives, and brand positioning.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including sales, product, partnerships, brand, communications, and leadership teams to deliver commercially impactful and strategically aligned engagement outcomes.
- Build and manage strong relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, associations, government-linked organisations, and event organisers.
- Drive compelling customer engagement experiences and storytelling that position CelcomDigi as a trusted enterprise and digital transformation partner.
- Conceptualise bold and innovative engagement formats, experiences, and activation ideas that challenge conventional B2B marketing approaches and create memorable business impact.
- Oversee budgeting, procurement processes, approvals, vendor negotiations, operational planning, and post-event reporting with strong operational discipline.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder expectations are consistently met.
- Analyse event performance, engagement metrics, pipeline contribution, and ROI to continuously optimise future initiatives.
- Stay updated on enterprise technology trends, business ecosystems, and emerging engagement formats to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
- Be hands-on during event execution and provide leadership in managing on-ground operations, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution.
Requirements
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in marketing, enterprise events, activations, sponsorships, partnerships, or strategic engagement roles.
- Strong experience managing corporate events, conferences, roadshows, workshops, executive engagements, or enterprise customer programs.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align engagement initiatives to business priorities, and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail, budgeting, and operational execution.
- Confident communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging senior management, partners, government agencies, and enterprise customers.
- Experience working with agencies, vendors, and external partners.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and tight timelines.
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, enterprise solutions, or digital industries is an added advantage.
