Growth Marketing Specialist (AI Innovation)
Job Description
The Growth Marketing Specialist (AI Innovation) is a key driver in embedding AI capabilities across GTM functions to modernise operating workflows, accelerate automation, and enhance end-to-end business efficiency. While situated within the Growth Marketing team, this role is not focused on campaign execution or demand generation. Instead, it operates as a GTM business operations enabler—introducing agentic and generative AI-powered systems that seamlessly connect marketing, product, sales, and data to optimise how the organisation runs.
This role is responsible for architecting and implementing intelligent automation layers that reduce manual processes, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and enable more responsive, data-driven GTM decision-making. By building scalable, AI-enabled workflows, you will unlock productivity gains and strengthen the operating backbone of the CGTM organisation—reshaping how the department delivers value at scale.
This position is ideal for a technically adept, systems-oriented and self-driven individual who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about solving structural business challenges through automation, optimisation, and cross-functional integration.
Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Opportunity Mapping
- Identify GTM processes, workflows, and consumer journeys that can be reimagined with agentic AI solutions (e.g., campaign targeting, churn prediction, pricing, bundling, digital journeys).
- Work with GTM leads to align AI initiatives with core commercial goals such as acquisition, upsell and retention.
- Prioritise AI use cases with measurable ROI and customer experience uplift.
Solution Design & Execution
- Translate business needs into agentic AI models or automation flows.
- Evaluate, test and integrate emerging platforms to strengthen campaign agility, audience targeting, and personalisation.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of tools with clear documentation, enabling self-serve adoption within GTM teams.
Innovation & Experimentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest in agentic AI, generative AI, martech and productivity tools, continuously experimenting with new technologies.
- Advocate for a culture of innovation and digital-first thinking within the CGTM department.
- Foster a culture of digital-first thinking by piloting new technologies and validating their impact through A/B testing.
- Champion scalable innovations that reduce manual effort and enhance team productivity.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.
- Present findings, recommendations and impact assessments to leadership and relevant stakeholders
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in GTM operations, digital transformation, business process optimisation, or related cross-functional roles (experience within marketing environments is beneficial but not required).
- Proven track record of implementing digital tools or AI-powered solutions to improve business processes.
- Strong systems thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate high-level commercial objectives into scalable operational solutions.
- Comfortable with rapid experimentation and adapting to evolving technologies.
Technical Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with generative and agentic AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Notion AI) and AI-assisted development environments (e.g., Claude Code).
- Experience designing and orchestrating automated workflows using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Power Automate, Make), including multi-step logic, API calls, and cross-system triggers.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and system integrations across GTM technology stacks (e.g., CRM, MarTech, analytics, data platforms).
- Ability to evaluate, prototype, and productionise AI-enabled workflows within existing operational ecosystems.
- Experience building dashboards or lightweight reporting layers (e.g., BI tools, internal reporting systems) to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into workflow performance, operational KPIs, and ROI outcomes.
Personal Attributes
- Self-motivated, curious, and excited by the opportunity to drive change.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexible and resilient in the face of ambiguity and shifting priorities.
