Postpaid Product Management
Job Description
This role involves ideation of products, services, offers, and solutions to meet market demands and customer expectations as managed by the Postpaid Products team. Take the initiative and step into an end-to-end role when needed, focusing on analyzing data in order to identify market opportunities. The position also involves responsibilities such as assessing market and competitor movements, preparing and presenting business cases. Part of this task includes working on SIM-only Postpaid plans and device bundles, driving profitability, innovation, and customer experience. The execution of tasks also aligns with governance frameworks from the Product Management and Strategy team while simultaneously collaborating with relevant and core product teams to ensure cohesive strategies and propositions are effectively brought to the market.
Responsibilities
- Ideation of products/ services/ offers/ solutions to meet market demands and customer expectations.
- This role requires taking some initial direction, and then shaping concepts ahead of time to meet the GTM calendar timeline. Also requires willingness to step into an end-to-end role when needed, and not afraid of getting into actual operational matters.
- Analyze data on customer patterns with a view to identify opportunities to serve customer and market needs.
- Assess market environment and competitor movements, and identify risks and opportunities for the business. This includes on-ground visits.
- Preparation of concept proposals and business cases (Back of the Envelope) and presenting the concepts at the relevant approval forums.
- Justify and communicate concepts with strategic approach, opportunity sizing, customer benefits and financial returns.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Consumer Go-to-Market teams to bring propositions to market.
- Track and analyze performance against user/ revenue/ profitability ambitions/ targets.
Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or any related field.
- 3-5 years relevant experience in product marketing.
- Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing or commercially oriented function.
- Strong interpersonal skills with drive and persistence to deliver.
- Experience with billing systems.
- Project management or marketing communications is advantageous.
