Job Description
As a Senior IoT Product Specialist, you are responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of IoT products that align with business goals, market demands, and technological advancements. You lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring products deliver high value to customers while maintaining competitive differentiation.
You play a crucial role in market research and competitive analysis, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. By collaborating with product GTM management, technology, and business teams, you need to translate complex customer needs into well-defined product requirements, balancing technical feasibility, business viability, and user experience. Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned to business strategy and revenue targets. Ensure solutions are modular, scalable, and repeatable across multiple cities and agencies.
A core aspect of your role is managing the financial performance of IoT products, including pricing strategies, revenue models, and cost optimization. You define key performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions that drive growth, adoption, and profitability. Security and compliance are also paramount, ensuring all IoT solutions meet industry regulations and best practices for data protection and risk mitigation.
Additionally, you own the go-to-market strategy, partnering with sales and marketing teams to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and customer engagement plans. You act as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating product roadmaps, business impact, and strategic direction to executives, partners, and customers.
Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify customer pain points, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze competitors’ IoT offerings and position products effectively in the market.
- Gather feedback from customers, sales teams, and industry experts to refine product offerings.
2. Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Define product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the development of IoT solutions, including hardware, software, and cloud integrations.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
3. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution
- Develop GTM strategies for IoT product launches, including positioning, messaging, and marketing plans.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to enable effective customer engagement and sales support.
- Provide training and documentation to ensure teams understand product capabilities and value propositions.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of working experience
- Degree in IT, Multimedia, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Experience managing pre-sales through the entire life cycle
