SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description
The Senior Project Manager is a 1-year contract role. This person is responsible for leading the planning and execution of complex customer-facing and internal technology projects, including the delivery of connectivity services, digital platforms, cybersecurity, cloud services and enterprise solutions. The role ensures high-quality delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining strong alignment with customer needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure for medium to large-scale technology and connectivity projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, resources, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal teams (engineering, solution architects, service management), partners and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery.
2. Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for external customers throughout the project.
- Conduct regular status meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle escalations proactively and diplomatically to maintain strong client relationships.
3. Financial & Resource Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Track actual vs. planned expenditures and report variances with recommended corrective actions.
- Ensure optimal use of resources across concurrent projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, cloud engineers, cybersecurity specialists, partners and vendors to deliver project goals.
4. Risk, Issue & Quality Management
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, internal governance, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
5. Governance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including charters, schedules, RAID logs, change requests, and closure reports.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership and PMO.
- Ensure alignment with corporate delivery frameworks and customer-specific requirements.
- Contribute to organizational knowledge by documenting best practices and promoting continuous improvement in project management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in technology, ICT or enterprise connectivity environments with 8+ years of project management leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing end-to-end solution delivery.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects across multiple domains involving software development, connectivity, ICT, cybersecurity and enterprise solutions.
- Experience working with both internal stakeholders and external enterprise clients.
