Job Description
Join CelcomDigi as a Security Management & Building Facilities and manage our nationwide physical security operations for technology buildings. You will oversee guards, assets, equipment, vendors, and security systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Responsibilities
- Manage nationwide physical security operations for technology buildings, covering perimeter security, assets, guards, equipment, vendors, and related services.
- Monitor and ensure consistency of security operations in compliance with Ministry of Home Affairs regulations and internal policies.
- Manage, control, and review security vendors to ensure service delivery meets SLA requirements and CelcomDigi policies, while maintaining zero downtime of security systems that may impact business operations.
- Enforce security procedures in accordance with government regulations, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct scheduled visits to CelcomDigi premises and sites nationwide to audit, review, and assess physical security performance, including identifying opportunities for system enhancements.
- Implement and support the design of security technology and digital initiatives, including developing, integrating, documenting, and enforcing standards and procedures, as well as assessing internal and partner-related risk exposures.
- Lead weekly and monthly meetings, audits, and reporting of general safety and security activities, including incident tracking and issue escalation for management decision-making.
- Contribute to the overall security strategy and master plan by assessing control adequacy and coordinating implementation for new and existing CelcomDigi assets, systems, and services.
- Liaise with and strengthen relationships with local enforcement authorities, particularly the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).
- Lead and manage site vandalism matters, including stakeholder coordination, reporting, and data analysis, and participate in monthly/quarterly Ops Lusuh meetings with PDRM.
- Perform other security-related duties and support Workspace department initiatives as assigned by management.
Requirements
- The role is fixed-term for 2 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in physical security, facility security, or security operations.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems, security technology, and digital security initiatives.
- Proven experience managing security vendors, service-level agreements (SLAs), and operational audits.
- Familiarity with government regulations, corporate policies, and compliance standards, including liaison with law enforcement agencies.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle security incidents effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel nationwide to audit, assess, and manage security operations.
