Senior Rewards Partnership Specialist
Job Description
As a Senior Rewards Partnerships Specialist, you will manage the ecosystem of our rewards partnerships with a strong focus in building value and exciting offers for our customers. You will work with management to develop long term reward strategies, develop partnerships with merchants / aggregators in delivering value , and optimise campaign execution to drive engagement and loyalty.
You are:
- Commercially driven with a strong focus on driving user engagement, retention, and incremental revenue through rewards partnerships.
- Digitally-savvy with a deep understanding of digital platforms, customer segments and redemption patterns within the Malaysian market; able to translate insights into compelling reward propositions.
- Define and develop partner engagement plans and reward programmes—capable of designing, launching, and optimising rewards campaigns with clear understanding of commercial structures, customer value propositions, fulfilment mechanisms, and customer journey.
- Performance-oriented and data-led, with the ability to track campaign effectiveness, analyse redemption and engagement metrics, and continuously optimise for ROI and customer engagement
Responsibilities
- Own the rewards strategy and implementation for rewards partnership with revenue and user engagement accountability.
- Design, develop, and manage the rewards portfolio to drive customer engagement, incremental revenue, retention, and upsell within the CelcomDigi ecosystem. Drive ROI through customer lifetime value and driving cross pillar revenue (e.g., from Safety & security, connectivity to fintech or content).
- Build a Partner Ecosystem that ensures a "best-fit" alignment with our diverse customer segments.
- Work with supporting units to lead end-to-end management of rewards operations, this includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the rewards section within the CD App and also campaign execution supporting other initiatives ( eg. App gamification, retail store promotions)
- Monitor and analyse rewards performance, including redemption rates, revenues, and continuously optimise rewards mix and campaign mechanics to maximise engagement and profitability.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, tech, marketing, and digital teams to ensure timely launches and effective promotion across all customer touchpoints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience in partnership management & negotiations, rewards / loyalty programmes, digital marketing and digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of rewards economics, and a good understanding of the industry and market needs.
- Experience in managing partnerships, vendor negotiations, and campaign execution.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking, reporting, and optimisation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
