Specialist Digital Centers Operations
Job Description
(This role is a 3rd Party contract engagement for 24 months.)
Overall, the scope requires the person to oversee the overall management of Digital Centre (NADI) that covers strategy and planning, project management and operations.
Strategy and Planning
- Strategise requirement for NADI based on requirement from MCMC (eg tender for new NADI)
- Strategise and plan for programs at NADI based on requirement from MCMC and communities need
- Plan for facilities requirement (eg backhaul) for NADI based on requirement from MCMC and company strategic plan
- Plan and create an audit program cycle of NADI project and evaluate its effectiveness.
Project Management
- Manage and ensure project executed follows the project management methodology and policies.
- Manage and monitor the project implementation, ensuring completion of NADI project milestones and deliverables of service maintenance follow the technical specification.
- Manage, coordinate, prepare and report progress of project on weekly/ fortnightly/ monthly depending on MCMC’s requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to vendor or contractor team for any technical issues related to USP NADI project starting from site survey, installation, Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and any activities whenever required.
- Manage and coordinate all MCMC complaints regarding all matters related to USP NADI project and escalate to management (if required).
- Identify and resolve potential critical issues and escalate as necessary.
- Lead, communicate and follow up with Technology Partner (TP) on NADI project progress update and reporting and review and coordinate for the NADI project progress report submission to MCMC.
- Coordinate and ensure USP claims documents are submitted to Finance department on schedule.
Operations
- Manage, coordinate and monitor overall NADI operations.
- Manage and coordinate implementation of NADI Smart Services
- Manage and coordinate implementation of events at NADI or any events outside NADI (eg Program Madani Rakyat) as per MCMC requirement and instructions
- Coordinate and prepare for NADI claims submission and submitted to Finance department on schedule.
- Prepare and compile the submission of bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual reports on existing USP project to MCMC.
- Assist in preparing relevant info for SAP system for USP related financial requirements & documents.
- Compile, coordinate and ensure timely submission of USP advance, quarterly and yearly project claims to MCMC.
- Compile and coordinate submission of all invoices and all supporting documents to Finance for USP payment process.
- Compile and coordinate UAT/TSD/FSD documents before submission to MCMC.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and/or correspondence as and when required by MCMC.
- Perform Goods Receive (GR), Service Entry Sheet (SES) and Budget Request via SAP.
Responsibilities
Requirements
Must possess a Degree/ Diploma in Engineering.
Minimum 3 years’ working experience.
Good knowledge and experience on NADI
Strong at managing KPIs and deliverables as per expected from MCMC requirement.
Very passionate about understanding NADI stakeholders and user’s expectations and working towards exceeding them.
Strong in managing documentation like reports dan documentations as MCMC requirement.
