Job Description

This role is to manages FTTH fibre infrastructure partnerships by building strong relationships with access providers, driving operational performance, and developing innovative collaboration models to optimize cost and service quality. It also oversees financial governance and compliance, ensuring accurate billing, SLA adherence, and continuous service improvement through performance monitoring and audits. 

Responsibilities

  1. Fibre Infrastructure Partner (Access Providers) management
    1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with Access Providers at both senior management and operational levels.
    2. Negotiate, identify and evaluate innovative collaboration opportunities (e.g., performance-based contracts or rate improvements) that align with long-term business strategy to deliver sustainable cost and operational advantages.
    3. Develop and propose at least one new commercial partnership model annually that aims to optimize cost structure while maintaining service quality.
    4. Lead governance framework and engagement cadences, including operational reviews and senior management meetings to drive business performance reviews.

 

  1. Operational Performance Management
    1. Oversee end-to-end performance of FTTx service fulfilment and restoration in collaboration with Access Providers.
    2. Lead regular operational meetings with Access Providers and internal Fibre Back Office teams to address service delivery issues and manage ageing cases relating to service installation and restoration.
    3. Track Access Provider performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
    4. Identify process gaps and report trends, risks and opportunities to management for service optimisation.

 

  1. Financial Governance & Compliance
    1. Ensure accuracy and integrity of partner billing and payments - coordinate with Finance and Fibre Operations teams to resolve billing disputes with Access Providers.
    2. Conduct quarterly audits of active subscribers in Access Provider portals to prevent overbilling and cost leakage.

 

  1. Contract Management
    1. Drive timely execution of contract – new, renewal or addendums to existing contract.
    2. Vet commercial terms to protects CD interest and follow up with Internal Operations/Legal to conclude contractual terms ensuring contracts are closed, stamped and stored.

Requirements

  1. A good manager with great skills and talents for managing, driving and guiding team members to achieve targets, ambitions and deliver quality deliverables.
  2. Strong in commercial and strategic acumen with good understanding of financial and operational impact of key business decision and industry issues.
  3. Resourceful; enjoys the challenge of working in a multi-stakeholder environment.

 

Merits:

  1. More than 6 years experience in business negotiations, operations and relationship management with partners
  2. Telco experience preferred but not required
  3. Recognised degree in any field
  4. Self-starter to follow up projects and manage takeholders.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Points for business presentation.
