Unit Head Warehouse Governance
Job Description
Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive warehousing governance and audit strategies that align with CelcomDigi’s overall business objectives. This role leads governance operations by ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards while driving efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize reporting and operational processes, ensure data integrity through systems such as WMS, SAP, and Oracle, and manage accurate documentation for traceability. Additionally, this role oversees governance personnel, leverages technology and automation to enhance processes, implements KPIs and performance dashboards for accountability, and conducts detailed audits, analyses, and management reporting to support data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust warehousing governance and audit strategies aligned with CelcomDigi’s overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize governance reporting, streamline physical processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze audit and inventory data to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards while maintaining operational effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of governance personnel, including task delegation, workload planning, and performance coordination.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and data integrity through the use of WMS, SAP, Oracle, or other relevant operational systems, ensuring alignment between system data and physical stock.
- Oversee proper documentation to ensure full traceability and recall readiness for all inventory transactions and scheduled stock counts.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen warehouse compliance, governance practices, and delivery efficiency.
- Leverage technology and automation to enhance end-to-end governance and audit processes.
- Define and track KPIs and develop performance dashboards to improve process visibility and vendor accountability.
- Conduct scheduled in-depth analyses, detailed audit assessments, fact-finding reviews, and management reporting as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Science, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehousing industries.
- Solid understanding of basic contract and commercial law, as well as audit and compliance practices.
- Experience in general, project management, and operational administration.
- Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of inbound and outbound processes, logistics systems, WMS, SAP, Oracle, and Coupa.
- Strong leadership and project management skills (intermediate to advanced level).
- Competent in preparing management reports, conducting analysis, and delivering presentations to CXO-level stakeholders.
- Independent, proactive, and highly skilled in problem-solving.
