Job Description
The Head of Section, Sales Channel Management is responsible for strategizing and driving the overall sales channel including Franchise and Retail by achieving the volume/value/profitability targets. This role involves managing the sales team and channels, understanding market trends, and implementing company sales and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Strategize and drive the overall sales channel including Franchise and Retail by achieving the volume/value/profitability targets.
- Work with Sales Team to achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly achievement of Acquisition and Revenue Targets
- Develop the sales team and channels
- Understand market trends, competition from the market and suggest tactical plan to achieve.
- Build brand image, position and achieve market leadership for Regions.
- Implement company sales and marketing strategy and harness the full potential of the retail distribution system for all products range.
- Dimensioning of complete distribution channel; Set distribution benchmarks and monitor performance against the same; Develop and implement Secondary tracking and other related processes for distribution; Expansion of distribution depth and width, conduct distributor audits. Monitor competition distribution strategy and approach constantly
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in an applicable field of study required
- Min. 10 - 12 years of experience working Sales / Retail Industry - Prefer from Telco industry
- Well verse with Distribution
- Retail and Sales Force Model
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Multitasking and decision making skills
- Statistic - driven mind with an eye for problem solving skills
