Sales Executive (Northern Region)
Role Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for managing all Telco Prepaid and Postpaid related businesses in their designated area, ensuring visibility of the company's services, executing sales strategies, and managing dealer and product related issues.

Location: Sungai Petani, Penang, Perak

We are looking for driven and competitive Sales Executives to join our dynamic sales team and support the growth of CelcomDigi products across targeted territories.
Reporting Line:
Reports directly to the Sales Supervisor within the allocated area.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for Prepaid and Postpaid activations, as well as reload revenue within the assigned cluster.
- Conduct daily dealer visitations to drive performance and ensure CelcomDigi’s presence is strong at the retail level.
- Support and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and marketing activities as planned by the Sales Supervisor or Management.
- Identify greenfield areas and expansion opportunities in the market, providing feedback to the Sales Supervisor for potential development.
- Monitor and assist in improving dealer performance to align with CelcomDigi’s targets and promotional efforts.
- Provide on-ground insights regarding competitor activities, pricing, and market threats, and suggest potential quick-win solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales data and updates to Sales Supervisor.
- Address dealer and frontliner queries, especially those related to systems or product knowledge.
- Ensure proper branding, visibility, and POSM deployment at all key outlets.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in any field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales or distribution; telco or FMCG background is a plus.
- Experience dealing with retail dealers, agents, or distribution channels is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have own transport and a valid driving license.
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, and result-driven.
- Comfortable working on weekends or odd hours when required.
- Good command of English and Malay (additional languages are an advantage).
- Ability to meet daily sales targets and thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Street-smart, adaptable, and able to think on your feet.
