Enterprise Business - Account Manager (Kuantan)
Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding segment-based customer portfolios by driving acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and fulfillment of business requirements. Success in this role is measured by consistent performance in both direct and indirect sales channels on a monthly and annual basis.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts within the assigned segment, driving acquisition and business growth to achieve sales revenue targets.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of business requirements and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive new business and revenue growth through both direct and indirect sales channels on a monthly and annual basis.
- Prepare, maintain, and update Account Plans for existing and potential customers on a monthly basis to ensure proactive account development.
- Generate accurate sales forecasts and closure reports weekly and monthly, while ensuring timely submission of proposals and sales quotations.
- Provide structured feedback on network performance and customer-related issues to relevant business stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Manage the full account lifecycle—from business acquisition to successful delivery—ensuring a seamless customer experience and achievement of business outcomes.
- Drive competitive positioning and actively strategize to win market share against competitors within the assigned segment.
Requirements
- This role is based at the CelcomDigi Regional Campus Office in Kuantan, Pahang.
- Minimum 3–6 years of proven experience in sales, account management, or business development roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of industry verticals, customer account management cycles, and prospecting strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong command of English (both written and spoken).
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint (for presentations) and Excel (for reporting and analysis).
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers at all levels.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
